Product Description:Treadmill stress testing is primarily used to identify coronary artery disease (CAD) which is suspected but can not be proved with resting ECG and/or echocardiography.
It is also used to assess the efficacy of the treatment of coronary artery disease regardless of the way it is treated: non-invasive or invasive (stenting or coronary artery by-pass grafting-CABG). Stress testing is used to assess the exercise tolerance after myocardial infarction or major cardiac surgery.
Treadmill stress test is also used for identifying and assessing the hypertensive disease and the efficacy of its treatment.
It can also be used to assess the significance of various rhythm disturbances such as sinus bradycardia, premature complexes and lower degrees AV blocks (Io, Wenckenbach)
