Starting from the hypothesis that the international communication under the influence of globalization processes and modern information and communication technology underwent a transformation into a new form, or in global communication, the authors offer us the genesis of this phenomenon from the beginning to the present (post) modern times.

Radojkovic, Stojkovic and Vranjes first discusses the historical development and its implications for international communication, as well as methods and media through which it was developing, and then analyze techniques, conditions and actors of contemporary international communication, as well as its normative framework. Commenting on the spatial and temporal dimension of this form of communication practice, going back to several decades ago, the authors remind us of the time of the struggle for a new world information and communication order, questioning phenomena such as cultural imperialism and international propaganda, all through the prism of clearly defined standards international communication.

Book International communication in the information society can certainly be considered, not only the professional public which is interested in the development of modern forms of communication practices, but also to a wider audience that wants to understand how the company is changing under the impact of new information and communication technologies.
