The importance given to friendship in modern society can not be overestimated, and this relationship in the public constantly analyzes in the press, film, television shows ... The interest of a wider audience for the friendship was monitored and his studies in a number of scientific studies that are recently launched. This book is the result of a research project that brought together philosophers and historians with particular interests in the field of classical Greek philosophy, the history of the Middle Ages, the Renaissance, modern Europe and the United States.
