Description::Dewar's White Label - History of creation of this drink is linked to John Dewar who was employed at his cousin to work with wines and spirits. The two worked together until 1846 when Dewar decided to become independent.
Aware of competition in the market Dewar's knew his whiskey must be distinguished from other Scottish whiskey. That is why only the highest quality grains mixed, with the intention to create a drink that is primarily intended for fans of good wine and brandy.
However worldwide success is achieved when Andrew Carnegie, the steel industries claim Magante, a native of Scotland, in 1891 donated a bottle Dewar's then US president. Because of this event was followed by public protests because their president drinking whiskey page.
This totally unexpected and took advantage of the free publicity Tommy Dewar, going to America and opening a representative office there.
Currently Dewar's is the best selling Scotch whiskey in the United States, but also among the fastest growing in Europe. Terenutno is one of the best-selling whiskeys in the world.
