Description:The course is designed for people who have basic knowledge of Finnish. It is taught in textbooks "Suomea suomeksi 1" and the workbook with exercises "Suomen harjoituksia". In the training process emphasizes phonetic exercises to strengthen and correct pronunciation. The individual approach to students involves distributing additional material to students who have difficulty or interest in a particular area.
The total duration of the course is 50 hours. At the end of the course the students are expected to:
have mastered the grammar of Finnish language;
have a vocabulary of at least 3000 words;
read and understand the text of medium difficulty;
a conversation on a daily theme;
know Finland, geography, culture and traditions.
