Картите се визуализират на мобилния телефон, като техния физически еквивалент. Комуникационната свързаност и обмена на данни в mobb са защитени чрез Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) технология. Тя осигурява криптиране на връзката и ненарушимост на данните. mobb поддържа всички мобилни платформи от 2004 г. насам. Данни за картите не се съхраняват в мобилния телефон.
