Description:Only Sofia Commodity Exchange has offered Bulgaria the chance to trade grain futures. Enshrines 7 standard contracts that are traded every Wednesday and Thursday at 14.00 and every Friday at 10.00 am. Standardized contract size is 15 tons.
Grain contracts are traded for immediate delivery and future delivery to 17 months ahead. Trading horizon is 18 months.
For transactions both pay commission on the exchange amounted to 0.15% of the Contract price. Seller agrees to deliver to the buyer and sell wheat with quality indicators under 2.1. and 2.2. of this contract and the buyer agrees to pay a base price ex-warehouse seller or buyer. Quality wheat to be healthy, regular commodity, edible at the time of delivery, without living infestation of storage pests in appearance, color and flavor - typical of fresh and well-stored wheat, no mold and no other, unusual Wheat smell and taste.
